Assortment of tesserae
Glue
Grout (choice of white or grey)
Disposable Gloves
Wheel cutters
Face masks
Protective eye wear
STUDENTS
Please wear a long sleeve shirt & trousers bring an apron, wear enclosed shoes.
Old tea towel and hammer
Enclosed water container or coffee mug
Your lunch in an enclosed container
IMPORTANT
Please clean up your work area at the end of the class
The containers and Wheel cutters are the property of Mosaics by Awan
Broken Crockery, ceramic tiles, grouts and glass contain silica, which is a health hazard, as it is invisible to the eye. This is why when cutting or breaking tesserae and when grouting, you wear a mask.
Often when breaking or cutting tesserae fragments can fly around so it is also important to wear protective eye wear and be mindful of others
Wash hands
Remove and wash clothes asap
Glue has smell wear mask allergies to glues please wear gloves
