Since reopening in 2024, the Canberra Officers Mess has become the social hub for the local ACT military community. With three headline events already hosted, the Mess has celebrated major sporting moments, including the NRL and AFL Grand Finals, Melbourne Cup, F1 races, and UFC matches.Featuring an outdoor beer garden, a cozy indoor bar, a pool table and darts, the Mess offers the perfect space to relax or celebrate. The bar is open Tuesday to Sunday, offering members a welcoming environment to unwind and connect.
Join a tradition-rich community where dining-in nights and cocktail parties honour the Mess's proud heritage. Your membership includes Wi-Fi, Morning tea every Wednesday from 0930-1030, Pay-Day bar snacks & raffles and unlimited machine coffee to ensure you're always fuelled, whether catching up with colleagues or taking a moment to recharge.
Annual membership (valid for the calendar year) is open to ACT Military Officers, APS6 and above, and UNSW Canberra Staff.
