This 2 Day internationally recognised and accredited course teaches participants about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in older adults, how to respond to a worsening mental health problem and the treatments and supports available.
Using a practical, evidence-based action plan, participants learn how to initiate a conversation about these concerns with the older person, how to offer initial support and to encourage the person to seek professional help.
This initiative is partially funded by the Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation and the JCA Haberman, Kulawicz & Wolanski Fund.
9am - 4.30pm on both days
