Hear the inspiring tales of those who made the brave journey to settle in Australia, and then create your very own boat, loaded with hopes, dreams, and wishes, ready to navigate the world ahead.This workshop invites young explorers to build simple boats that reflect their own unique dreams, while learning about the power of migration and the courage of those who set sail for new beginnings. It’s not just about crafting—it's about connecting with history, embracing creativity, and letting your imagination chart a course for the future.
Suitable for ages 8-12. Younger children will need carer assistance. Parents and carers are welcome to unwind in the beautiful Heritage Gardens while the kids embark on this exciting adventure.
