The Annual Ireland Cup Golf Day, Monday 24th March 2025 is an annual Stableford competition, held at the Royal Canberra Golf Club, to determine Individual and Team Champions. Teams consist of four (4) players.
Teams are encouraged but Individuals can take part but may be assigned to a team where that team is short a player. Individuals may also be combined to play as a team where numbers permit.
History
Circa 1954 the then Irish Ambassador to Australia, Dr T.J. Kiernan, presented The Ireland Cup to RCGC to be awarded to the winning team in an annual golf competition at the Club.
Prizes are awarded for the Individual and Team Champions.
Cost: $150 per person includes green fees, along with lunch & drinks post-game at the Canberra Irish Club, 6 Parkinson Street, Weston, ACT 2611
Schedule: Registration from 7:00am, Putting competition 7:30am, Golf - Shotgun start at 8:00am
