GAMC presents Tim Scanlan
One man band Tim Scanlan teams up with fiddler Mana Okubo from Japans ‘John John Festival’. Mixing ancient tunes and drones with modern beats and sounds. Music flies between Quebecois, Scottish, Irish, Breton and original tunes and songs, all powered by heavy foot percussion and a floor full of effects pedals. They’ve taken their music around the world, most recently touring Japan and Europe in 2024 playing at the Fleadh Cheoil in Ireland and the Intercelticique festival in Brittany.
Tim, originally from Traralgon, and Mana will be returning to GAMC for the first time since their 2015 performance. For this gig they will have a very special guest joining them for some tunes.
