Think Shakespeare, but funny! Soothplayers create a brand new, one-hour play in Shakespearean style on the damn'd spot. All they need from you is a suggestion of a title that could have been written by Shakespeare (but was not).
The show has been delighting Australian audiences for 10 years, touring from Melbourne to Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth for festivals and workshops. These are some of Melbourne's most experienced improvised comedians, featuring veterans of Thank God You're Here, Impro Melbourne, The Improv Conspiracy, and The Big Hoo-Haa.
You do not need to be a Shakespeare super-fan to love the show, though this crew shall absolutely match thy freak if thou art. It promises serious silliness as well as gasp-inducing, magical moments of high drama. Every play is the first (and last) performance of its kind, so you can always come back tomorrow (and tomorrow, and tomorrow...).
