This year's President's Club Luncheon is one not to be missed!2025 marks the 40 years since two Melburnian boxers fought in one of the fights of the Century for the IBF super featherweight title.
Barry Michael and Lester Ellis slugged it out over 15 rounds, with Michael taking the fight on points.
These two legends join us at Shane Warne Oval to take us through that amazing encounter, share a few stories and let us in on some of the build up to the fight that stopped Melbourne and Australia in it's tracks.
This event will be held on Friday, February 28th, at the Shane Warne Oval pavilion, Duncan St, Sandringham. Commencing at 11:30am and finishing at 4pm (sharp), your $85 entry ticket entitles you to a the show, a carvery lunch and ice cold beer and soft drinks for the afternoon.
President's Club members receive a heavily discounted price ($30), as part of their membership.
Tickets will be capped, so get in fast!
