International Women's Day - "Empower Her Future"
About
Help change the lives of girls and women in Cambodia.This is a joint event of Step2 Foundation & Dana Asia – two grassroots charities working in Cambodia to improve the lives of children and impoverished families.
The aim of the night is to raise funds to help women and girls in Cambodia break the poverty cycle by giving them opportunities in education and economic independence. The goal is to enable 25 girls to start primary school in 2025, sponsor more girls to go to higher education and focus on giving financial assistance to help women to start social enterprises.
There will be a panel discussion hosted by Emma Rossi, highly respected journalist, broadcaster & women’s advocate, co-founder of Mary’s House refuge for women & children. The high profile panel will be lead by Catherine Harris, Chairperson for Harris Farms and Honorary Consul Bhutan.
