The next concert in the Music in the Morning - Seniors Concert series is held on Wednesday 21 May 2025 and features Jo Elms, Brian Lorenz and the Joseph Macri Band.

Jo Elms is a multi-talented performer who has had a top ten single in her homeland New Zealand, won awards for her original compositions in the 25th Australian National Song writing Contest and twice at the Musicoz awards and has composed songs for the hit children’s TV series ‘As The Bell Rings’-Disney Channel. Her performances have seen her grace international stages; The Claridges Hotel in London with Dame Edna Everage, London’s legendary live music venue The Bedford, The Regal Room-London, with London power-show ‘The Battle of the Divas’, and as part of the London show case for Australian talent based in the U.K

Brian Lorenz is regarded as one of Australia’s bright new talents (winner of Rising Star Award Australian Entertainment Awards 2014). In the entertainment world, Brian has earned the reputation of being a great song and dance man. He has the rare ability to move his audience to tears with his amazing vocal range and interpretation of songs. His unique talent enables him to sing many genres of music from musical theatre to pop to opera. 

Brian is not just a wonderful vocalist and dancer he is a great entertainer with a personality to match and always has the audience asking for more. Also being able to sing in 4 different languages including English, Filipino, Spanish and Italian makes Brian Lorenz a very special talent!

Music in the Morning will also feature multi-award-winning backing band – Joseph Macri Band, featuring some of Australia’s finest musicians.
