Introduction to Sustainability with a Water focus
Join Little Green Steps WA and learn about the basics of sustainability and how it relates to an Early Years setting, discuss the topics from the sustainable schools WA ecological footprint and social handprint. With links to relevant resources and hands on activity ideas.
This workshop will also focus on protecting and conserving water, learn about water and where it comes from and how we use it here in Perth. Discuss tips on how to protect our waterways and how to reduce your services water consumption. Participate in a variety of hands-on activities which demonstrate these ideas all of which are suited for Early Years settings.
All our workshops link with Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. This is a great workshop for all Early Year's educators who are looking to refresh their knowledge on sustainability and gain a better understanding on conserving and protecting water in an Early Years setting.
