UWA Composition | Under the Moonlight
About
For centuries, the Moon has inspired art, literature and music through its changing appearance and symbolism. It is a source of fascination and wonder across all cultures. Many songwriters have taken inspiration from the moon in such well-known tunes that include “Fly Me to the Moon”, “Blue Moon”, “Moon River” and even “Rocket Man” and “Space Oddity”. Conservatorium composition students present arrangements of songs inspired by our closest celestial neighbour.
