This Is America is a tribute to the land of opportunity's most revered and esteemed 20th century classical and jazz composers.As he celebrates his 30th birthday this year, join Perth-based trumpeter Jack Sirett and renowned Melbourne concert pianist, Christopher Nankervis, as they take on a vast repertoire of favourites from George Gershwin to Miles Davis, Stephen Bulla to Sonny Rollins, along hidden gems from across the 20th century American musical landscape. Despite the tyranny of distance between Australia's west and east coast, more than 10 years of friendship have ensued, with music as the cornerstone of their lives.
Performing in the beautiful boutique setting of Christ Church Claremont, this is a one-off show that you won't want to miss! Join them for a magical, intimate evening of lyrical melodies transcending you from the Appalachian mountains to the jazz clubs of New York.
