Uncover the superb design concepts of Olive Tree House as you step inside and discover sustainable house design which challenges the Australian norm of housing to assist in your renovations and builds. Presented by Jo Bastian of Bastian Architecture, you will tour this architectural wonder followed by a presentation which dives into important  themes to consider when thinking about sustainable builds and renovations as well as ways to incorporate recycled materials and disposing of building waste in a sustainable way.

Cost: Free of charge. Please ONLY book if you can make it. Priority will be given to City of Newcastle residents.

This workshop is for those who are looking at undertaking home renovations or extensions or are involved within the design and/or build of a new home. Although it is an introductory workshop, a basic knowledge of building or renovation concepts would be recommended however, not mandatory.
