Aggiornamento ECSI 101 - The Faithful Imagination - REPEAT

The word aggiornamento is Italian for “updating” and captures one of the aims for the Church of the Second Vatican Council. This introductory Aggiornamento program seeks to address and promote some of the expressed professional learning and accreditation needs of the Catholic educational community in Australia. Specifically it addresses initial understandings for Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) in the diocese of Ballarat.The two sessions: "The Contemporary Context" and "The Faithful Imagination", 90 minutes each, will be offered on March 11th and 25th (with repeat sessions on March 13th and 27th respectively). These sessions will introduce participants to the practice of thinking and talking about Catholic faith in dialogue with their experiences in the contemporary world.
The sessions will have direct relevance for learning and teaching in a Catholic dialogue school and no prerequisites are required; whatever your faith disposition, you are welcome!
