About
Facilitator: Dr Chandra Salgado Kent, Research Adviser (Quantitative), ECU Graduate Research
Location: Joondalup Campus
Audience: Open to ECU Higher Degree by Research candidates
RPDF Domain and Skill(s): Research Skills > Methodology Skills
This workshop will provide an overview of linear modelling methods and its extensions, including examples of the range available (ANOVAs, MANOVAs, Mixed Models, and Generalized Linear Models, etc), what each is used for, and when to and when not to use them.
The intent of this workshop is for participants to gain knowledge required to select the right modelling approach for their question out of the wide range available today. This workshop will not provide step-by-step instruction on how to run the analyses themselves.
Very basic concepts will be introduced in simple language for those that have not been exposed to these analytical methods, and integrated into more complex and advanced concepts through the course of the workshop.
