Isabelle will do a live painting performance with musician, Oliver Vigor. This performance will celebrate, acknowledge the empowerment of everything regarding girls and women.
Meet Kimoko, the mischievous Japanese doll, and Hera, the Goddess of Women, and acknowledge the resilience and courage of motherhood. The finale will be a long ink painting to celebrate the year of the snake after which the audience will be invited to experience the wonder of Sumi-e ink and contribute to this artwork.
This event is dedicated to my Japanese mother, Mineko Sakamoto.
