Through its rich themes and lush harmonic lines, music tells stories and evokes feelings. Composers through the ages have succeeded to paint pictures of scenes and mood, and through the ages this historical progress has made music an essential part of successful films.The Classic Sounds Orchestra presents a through-performance (no interval), with narration to describe the pieces, and bring to you music that centuries ago was adored by audiences of Europe, and then in recent years was the influence behind the great film composers of the present day. There will be something for everyone as we also hear children's voices from Rachel John's music class choir.
Enjoy music of historical composers interspersed with John Barry, Ennio Morriconi, and as cult greats from Grease!
