Louise Anton is a name synonymous with entertainment in Perth with over 40 years as a professional Singer & Musician. Louise has once again teamed up with The Collective String Ensemble to present their new show ‘Classics Restrung’.The Collective was born from a larger core of Musicians. The 45 member Hills Symphony Orchestra. And was created with the sole purpose of playing contemporary, pop classics in a more portable, accessible format for their players and audiences alike. Under the baton of Maestro Shaun Fraser, together they’ve recreated breathtaking versions of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classics, combining stirring vocals, luscious strings, mellow piano and moving melody.
Put Louise Anton into the mix and you have a wonderful blend of melodic sounds, the perfect simplistic pairing of piano, vocals and strings. They have taken great songs and developed intricate handwritten string arrangements, painting colours of melody, into musical pictures.
