NSJCA Boys' Representative Trial Registrations: season 2026-27

This is the registration process for trials to select NSJCA representative U11-U15 boys' teams for season 2026-27

Age Groups

Age groups for season 2026-27 are:

U11 - either 9 or 10 years old on 31 August 2026

U12 - 11 years old on 31 August 2026

U13 - 12 years old on 31 August 2026

U14 - 13 years old on 31 August 2026

U15 - 14 years old on 31 August 2026

Players can only trial for one age group.  Only those players who have already applied for, and received dispensation to trial in a higher age group may do so.

Exemptions for eligibility require approval from NSJCA’s Representative Sub‐Committee and will only be granted case-by-case.  Requests for exemptions are to be submitted via reps@nsjca.asn.au before registration but no later than one week prior to Trial 1 for the player’s age group. 

Players who wish to trial to represent NSJCA but have not played in an NSJCA club competition in season 2025-26 are asked to contact NSJCA’s Representative Sub-Committee at reps@nsjca.asn.au about eligibility.

Trial Requirement – Cricket NSW

CNSW only permits players to trial for and represent one association per season.  Prior to attending a trial, players must nominate their chosen association by submitting this form to CNSW: https://www.playhq.com/cricket-australia/register/4eb09f

Week 1 trial:

For the U12 and U13 age groups, the Trial 1 is split into two groups based on surname. Cricket Central has requested this to limit the number of people at Cricket Central Silverwater. 

COULD ALL PLAYERS ATTENDING WEEK 1 TRIAL AT SILVERWATER PLEASE BRING A CRICKET BALL.

FOR U12 & U13 TRIALS, THIS IS A RED 142G TWO PIECE CRICKET BALL

FOR U14 TRIALS, THIS IS A RED 156G (PREFERABLY FOUR PIECE) CRICKET BALL. 

Week 2 trial: The second (week 2) trial is invitation only (from players shortlisted from the first trial).  The players invited back for the week 2 trial will have their names listed on the NSJCA website prior to the second trial. This is likely to be a centre wicket trial. Please note, there is no week 2 trial for the U15 age group. 

Wet weather:  In the event of wet weather, the trial dates and times may change. Such changes will be advised via the NSJCA website www.nsjca.asn.au.
