The choral suite from Karl Jenkins enduringly popular work The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace forms the centerpiece of this very special concert to mark Remembrance Day. The concert also features conductor Rowen Fox’s own composition All This is Ended, which was commissioned in 2018 as a part of the Armistice Centenary commemoration, and is dedicated to the memory of all those, civilian and military, who lost their lives in the Great War.Joining the choir is Sydney based soprano soloist Samanta Lestavel, and local violinist Rebecca Daniel, accompanied by Heather Moen Boyd on St Finbar’s organ. The organ was built in Plymouth in the 1880s then moved to Glenbrook in 1995 where it has been lovingly restored and redecorated.
