An event you won’t experience often. Music that is painted!Brisbane artist Kerry Holland paints music by Eric Satie. Normally renowned for his idiosyncratic music – especially his meditative, spare piano pieces, Satie now provides inspiration with his cryptically named Trois Morceaux en forme de Poire (Three pieces in the shape of a Pear). For this unique venture Kerry Holland sets up her easels in our performance space and paints the shapes and colours that are inspired by what she hears.
Duo Mary&Me perform fascinating pieces by Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert and Elena Kats-Chernin as well as Satie.
