Tromsø and the Arctic Botanic Garden with Judy Hajdu

FOBG Committee member Judy Hajdu shares the beauty of a recent journey to Tromsø, the largest town north of the Arctic Circle. Home to the northernmost botanic garden in the world, it displays Arctic and alpine plants from all over the northern hemisphere, with a distinctive and unique biota. The collection includes flowers and herbaceous perennial plants that survive dark, long winters, then spring to life as soon as the days lengthen. There's even a wonderful collection of large flowering blue poppies!
