We will build on the first course by:
- deepening & strengthening our understanding & practice;
- developing further skills in end-of-life care through developing greater compassion & wisdom in caring for others facing death;
- learning & applying deep listening skills & qualities of being present;
- recognising how to develop safe boundaries to prevent burnout;
- applying the material to our own lives & preparation for death to gain greater understanding & empathy with others;
- using integrative practices – meditations, journalling, discussion, exercises in listening & compassionate presence;
- drawing from the Tibetan Buddhist perspective & using that understanding in a universal way for people of all traditions & beliefs;
- looking at our fear of death, how we grasp at permanence & deepening our understanding of the nature of impermanence;
- understanding stress & what prevents being fully present with others;
- learning to overcome afflictive emotions, the process of forgiveness.

You will have your own bedroom. There are limited rooms with ensuites; these will incur an added cost of $130 payable at the time of the retreat.

$1,575 including non-refundable deposit of $300.
This includes all catering, accommodation and course materials.

All your meals are included, delicious vegetarian dishes freshly prepared by the onsite chef.
