This kitchen's mission is to support vulnerable people with free food and share donated items on the day.GUIH Volunteers will be available to listen to your story.
Conduct an assessment. Identify needs. Make referrals to local support services.
GUIH Social Work service is available to discuss income support, family domestic violence issues, and general counselling support.
This facility is air-conditioned and heating is available.
Attendees can use the games area, kitchen facilities, computers, and free Wi-Fi, which will all be supervised by GUIH volunteers.
The kitchen starts effective 12th March 2025 and will be open to the public between 7-8 PM only
No smoking zone.
Due to limited seating, it is better to register so we have an idea of how many are attending.
Pantry and toiletry items can be donated, and they will be shared with vulnerable people who attend the kitchen. All cash donations above $2 can be claimed during tax time.
