An evening with our expert Endocrinologists and Diabetes Educators diving into the new Omnipod 5 technology. Open to experienced Podders, and those living with Type1 Diabetes who are curious to learn more about the Omnipod 5 insulin device.Dr Michael Hancock, an endocrinologist with a specialist interest in diabetes technology, will introduce the concept of pumps and, in particular, AID principles. The potential clinical and psychological benefits of switching to PUMP technology and an overview of the new Omnipod 5 algorithm.
Fran our lead Diabetic Educator will discuss practical aspects – pods, PDM, CGM, including the process for transitioning and the purpose of regular follow-up.
