Recognised as the global leader in suicide intervention training, LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is a comprehensive, two-day interactive workshop. Designed to provide suicide first-aid intervention. LivingWorks ASIST equips participants with the skills to work with individuals with thoughts of suicide, develop personalised safety plans to keep them safe for now, and connect them with further professional help.Workshop features:
* Engaging presentations and powerful videos led by a two LivingWorks registered trainers to stimulate discussion and enhance learning
* Shared participant experiences that enrich the learning process
* Pathway for Assisting Life (PAL) model: Connecting with suicide, Understanding choices, and Assisting life
* Extensive opportunities for skills practice
Please note tea and coffee will be provided however lunch and other snacks are to be organised by the participant.
