About
Safe Space is an event series presented by Drs4Drs ACT and AMA ACT. Each event brings together a range of guest speakers from the medical profession to discuss topics themed on doctors' mental health and wellbeing.Our eighth event in the series is open to all local doctors and medical students. You're invited to start the day with an optional Parkrun/Parkwalk at Lake Burley Griffin. The day includes sessions about mentorship, including panellist Dr Jill Van Acker, Chief Medical Wellness Officer CHS and anaesthesist, and organisational skills tips shared by our Medical Director Dr Marisa Magiros. A light lunch will be provided followed by a wellbeing activity learning to draw cartoons/caricatures with award winning cartoonist Steve Panozzo.
