This concert features music composed specifically for mandolin orchestras by Australian composers including Stephen Lalor, Tara Lyman, Michelle Nelson, Richard Charlton, Brent Keogh and Werner Ruecker. Our conductor for this concert, the first for 2025, is Werner Ruecker, well known to both Melbourne and Sydney audiences as he was formerly the conductor of the MMO and is currently the conductor for the Sydney Mandolin Orchestra. He's back with the MMO just for this great concert!
