Join us for a field day at the Kingaroy Research Facility starting with lunch and ending with a BBQ and Drinks for a close-up look at current Summer Crops and Cover. This afternoon will have 18 different crops/covers, incorporating an update of sesame from last year including varieties and commercialisation to industry going forward, which have all been planted at the facility. There will also be a live crimping demonstration on 6 different cropsWe will have industry partners from Agriventis, CQUniversity, Bean Growers Australia, Seednet, Kandanga Farm Store ,Auscrimper seed suppliers and DPI who will provide an overview of the crops, current and potential markets, equipment planting methods, crop agronomy and potential fit within existing farming systems
