Multi-talented artisan Owen Bright will present to our upcoming Artist Talk Series, where he will share his fascinating journey through a diverse range of creative disciplines.Always a bit of a dreamer, Owen has been artistically inclined since childhood. What began with drawings and sketches evolved into a lifetime of mastering an impressive array of skills. Trained as a graphic artist, he possesses a natural ability to create virtually anything he sets his mind to, working across multiple media with remarkable precision and ingenuity.
In his early twenties, Owen found himself drawn to woodworking, particularly in crafting musical instruments. From guitars and dulcimers to bodhráns and Celtic harps, his creations are far from ordinary. His harps, in particular, showcase an extraordinary fusion of artistic techniques—incorporating pyrography, gemstones, and intricate lost-wax metalwork.
