Join us at Newcastle City Library for an evening of discussion about the lives of local female trail blazers to commemorate International Women's Day.Local historians and authors Barbara Heaton and Christine Bramble will join our very own Local Studies Librarian Sue Ryan, to share stories and celebrate the achievements of a number of our region's pioneering women. From varied backgrounds and across fields including the arts, politics, sport, and business, find out more about the obstacles they faced, the successes they enjoyed, and the legacy of their contributions to our community.
Refreshments will be provided for what promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening.
