Workshop Details: During this interactive workshop, you will engage in discussions, activities, and reflections that will challenge your perceptions of self-care and inspire you to prioritise your own wellbeing. Our expert facilitators, Professor Narelle Lemon, Professor Julie Ann Pooley and Professor Verena Thomas, will guide you through a toolbox approach, providing you with a framework that encompasses various aspects of wellbeing science, including physical health, mental wellbeing, social connections, and personal growth.
You will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women, share experiences, and create a supportive network that will motivate and inspire you on your self-care journey. Together, we will redefine self-care as an empowering and achievable practice that benefits not only yourself but also those around you.
Who Should Attend: This workshop is designed for women aged 18 years plus of all backgrounds who desire to prioritise their wellbeing and break free from the stigma surrounding self-care. Whether you are a busy professional, a caregiver, or simply someone seeking to enhance your overall wellbeing, this workshop is for you.
Duration: 2 hours. Afternoon tea will be provided
Cost: Free
Involvement: Participation in a workshop, engaged in activities, and sharing. This workshop will be filmed and photographed, and you may be invited to be recorded in a podcast talking about how you approach self-care in proactive ways to empower other women.
