About
The Grainger Wind Symphony, a top community wind symphony invites school concert bands to share a concert performance "By Invitation". As the group is made up of many music educators, they are keen to inspire students to build their passion for music making and to keep playing after they leave school. All our members have graduated from school bands themselves. The GWS has invited Blackburn High School's Symphonic Band and Balwyn High School's Symphonic Band to perform alone, and to listen to the GWS and the other bands perform. We hope you will come along a create a wonderful atmosphere, one that the students will feel as a positive encouragement to keep up their music and work hard!We recommend patrons bring their own cushion as the seats are hard!
