Legal issues for older people - what you need to know
Who decides for you if you can't decide for yourself? We often take for granted our ability to make decisions, both big and small, that shape our lives. When faced with more complex choices, we may seek advice from others, but ultimately, the decision to follow that advice remains ours.
As we get older however, our ability to make these decisions may change due to illness, injury or age. There are steps you can take to ensure that decisions made on your behalf are the right ones for you, whether they be legal, financial, medical or social.
Join Seniors Rights Service to better understand your rights, the opportunities for pre-planning and where to find more help.
