In recognition of World Preeclampsia Day, AAPEC (Australian Action on Preeclamsia) will be hosting a walk.
Come and walk on Sunday 25th May 2025, 10am at Broadwater Parklands to raise awareness of Preeclampsia.
Meeting/Starting Point: Southern Green room/restrooms on the Southern Lawn - Section B (map attached)
- The approximately 2 km walk is on a flat road surface appropriate for prams and wheelchairs with great views of the Gold Coast Broadwater
- Parking, toilets and amenities are available in the park
- An alternative paid undercover parking option is the Australia Fair shopping centre at an easy walk across Gold Coast Highway
- Broadwater Parklands is accessible by public transport. Exit at the Broadwater Parklands Light Rail Station or bus stop at the Australia Fair shopping centre and cross the Gold Coast Highway
- Participation in the walk costs $20 Adults, $15 Concession & under 12 free
- All proceeds will be donated to AAPEC
