Kimochis for Parents
This parent workshop provides an overview of Kimochis, a social emotional learning program which aims to help students understand,
express, and regulate their own emotions effectively. Across a series of brief in-class sessions, our students in P-2 get the opportunity to
meet a group of toy characters that represent different personalities and temperaments, which are then used as tools for fostering
emotional awareness and communication skills. This workshop aims to equip parents with the same language and practical strategies that
we are teaching in the classroom, to expand this emotion regulation approach into your home.
