Brandy has a long and savoury history in Coonawarra, with local vineyards cultivating myriad grape varieties not only for wine, but equally distillation and fortification. Cookbook author Robert Carmack returns to the Penola Arts Festival (after a 10-15 year hiatus), resurrecting and readapting his 1987 book “desserts with Spirit!" for Majella... and 2025 palates.
