2025 Club Membership / Visitor Fees
UTS Fencing Club
University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Fencing is one of the most successful and competitive fencing establishments in Oceania. It is the home to current and past Australian National Representatives, Commonwealth, National and State Champions and many more NSW representatives. All three Olympic fencing weapons (foil, epee and sabre) are practised at the club. UTS Fencing has over 60 years of history as the nurturing ground for many outstanding competitive university student and youth fencers.
UTS Fencing is a diverse and inclusive club. We encourage all to try out fencing and train with the club regardless of their age and experience in fencing.
The club offers training from beginner to international level. UTS staff and UTS Students with no previous fencing experience can learn and experience the sport of fencing via our beginners’ fencing class, and Women's in Sport- Fencing events. Some of the finest Australian fencers starts fencing with a university’s Learn to fence program. Because fencing is fun, you don’t have to be a competition-level fencer to enjoy the sport.
There are social events throughout the year where you will also have the opportunity to meet and socialise with your fellow club members. In addition, UTS student fencers will have the opportunity to participate and represent the university in the Australian Universities Games.
