16th National Paediatrics Bioethics Conference

About
When providing clinical care, uncertainty or conflict can arise over the best course of action to take. Clinical ethics can offer ways to think through many of the challenging issues that confront us when analysing situations and weighing up treatment options when caring for a child and their family. This work of moral deliberation is informed by the theoretical frameworks offered by the field of bioethics. So how valuable and relevant are bioethical theories to clinical ethics and everyday clinical practice? In this year’s conference we explore the contribution of bioethics and ethical principles to aspects of paediatric care.Conference runs from Wednesday 3rd- Friday 5th September
