Sparkling wine is so much more than simply still wine with bubbles in it. Join our Winemaker Andrew Gaman for an in-depth look into how Sparkling is made - including disgorging your very own bottle of Estate Sparkling to take home.Included in the ticket price:
- a tour through our vineyard, looking at and tasting Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes: the grapes that make up our sparkling wines;
- an in-depth look at the sparkling process: from making a 'sparkling base', to secondary fermentation, time on lees, riddling, and disgorging;
- tasting our 'sparkling base': the work in progress wine that will one day become our 2025 vintage;
- tasting other as-yet-unreleased Eastford Creek sparkling wines
- focusing on the 'dosage' of a sparkling and tasting what different dosages add to a wine
- creating your own bottle of sparkling to take home, including disgorging, dosaging, corking, applying muselets and finally labelling
