About
The talk will briefly describe the project, what it will bring to the Perth CBD. This will be followed by an in-depth talk from the Head Contractor, Multiplex, on some of the engineering challenges overcome during the construction, the lessons learnt and how the project is looking as it nears completion.Once open in semester one, 2026, the 11 super-level ECU City campus will bring together creative industries, business, and technology under one roof in the heart of Perth. It is the centrepiece of the Perth City Deal, a partnership between the Australian Government, the Western Australian Government, and ECU to deliver Perth’s first fully comprehensive inner-city university campus.
Spanning more than 65,000 square metres and integrating the Perth Busport, the cutting-edge teaching, learning and performance facilities at ECU City will change the fabric of the CBD to create a vibrant hub of education, research, creativity, and technology innovation.
