Book Club with Bram

Join author, critic and all-round book tragic, Bram Presser for a fun and lively chat about some of the greatest lost gems of Jewish literature.
The first session will include an exploration on the parameters of Jewish writing. You will have the chance to share your favourites and discuss a few short stories (to be sent).
In the second session, Bram will lead a discussion on the book, ‘Voices in the Evening’ by Natalia Ginzburg, arguably the greatest Italian novelist of the post-War era. This gem explores the past and future, personal identity and family dynamics, in provincial Italy in the aftermath of World War Two.
The next three sessions will focus on an individual book, titles to be released to participants closer to the sessions.
All sessions will be held from 7-8:30pm
Session dates: Tuesday 25 March, Tuesday 6 May, Tuesday 17 June, Tuesday 5 Aug, Tuesday 16 Sept
