Encore! Encore! Well, what a sweet surprise. Murat Ovaz, our favourite Turkish Delight, is joining us again for another very special lunch.
We're doing it all again!
You may remember Chef Murat from his iconic South Yarra eatery Yagiz, where for years he shared his wonderful style of cooking and hospitality. More recently his presence has quickly become a cherished addition to St Kilda, where you can find him at the helm of I Carusi II.
We are celebrating the return of our Shuck Buddies pop-up series by bringing back a heavy hitter! Murat will be swapping his usual kitchen for ours at The Walrus, serving some of his (and our) favourite dishes.
Lunch will include things like stuffed zucchini flowers, home made taramasalata and whole lamb on the spit. The ticketed event will include a multitude of savoury courses, and of course we will be offering some very special drinks on the day.
This long lunch runs from 1pm - 4:30pm - don't make any other appointments, we're dining on Turkish time!
