This event is a fundriaser for the 2026 anniversary of the Catalpa Escape. A daring, crowd-funded 'whaling' expedition that set out from the USA in 1876 to rescue the Irish Fenian Prisoners from Fremantle Prison.
Our volunteer organisation, Fenians Fremantle and Freedom commemorated the Fenians and their contribution to our culture.
