Whether it’s the inspiring journey of a woman who defied the odds, the rhythm of movement that nurtures well-being, or the magic of singing together, each event is designed to uplift and unite women from all walks of life.
WOMEN'S COMMUNITY CENTRE SA
The Women’s Community Centre SA Inc. is the oldest and women’s-only community centre in metropolitan South Australia. Since 1975, we have been a hub for connection, support, and empowerment, founded on the vision of the St Peter’s Women’s Group. With a legacy of advocacy and grassroots initiatives, we continue to provide a safe space where women from all backgrounds come together to share, learn, and thrive.
This particular event series, Women Who Love, —honors the strength, resilience, and joy of women through three unique gatherings.

Session Schedule:
Women Who Love Grandmother’s Stories – 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Dive into the inspiring real-life story of Maggie Kelly, who emigrated to Australia on a 'bride ship' in the year 1900, navigating hardships with resilience and courage, followed by three powerful narratives of grandmothers' wisdom, celebrating the legacy of womanhood across generations.
Women Who Love Dance and Movement – 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM
Rejuvenate your body and soul through the captivating traditions of Aboriginal, Nepalese, and Scottish cultural dances, followed by an energizing Zumba session, celebrating movement, expression, and togetherness.
Women Who Love Singing – 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Celebrate womanhood through the joy of music and karaoke, creating unforgettable memories while expressing yourself through song.

With the rising cost of living, WCCSA offers both concession and full-priced tickets for individuals and the entire event, ensuring accessibility for all. We also welcome donations to support our initiatives.
Light refreshments and drinks will be provided during the event. -
