Perth Modern Quilt Guild has secured a rare vacancy so we can offer members the chance to attend a spring quilt retreat at the Redgum Retreat in Dwellingup! In a beautiful orchard setting, a short walk along the bush track from Dwellingup village, it's the perfect venue for fabulous sewing and relaxing with quilty PMQG friends.

The retreat runs for almost three full days: from Tuesday 18th to 20th Nov. 2025 (3 days / 2 nights). 

Location: Redgum Retreat (at the Wine Tree), 46 Holyoake Rd, Dwellingup, WA 6213

Arrive: any time you like from 11am Tuesday 18th Nov. 2025 (time TBC)
Depart: Check out of rooms by 10am Thursday 20th Nov., TBC if we can stay sewing until 2pm or later, as in previous retreats

Food: Two delicious dinners for both evening meals and a catered lunch for Wednesday (NB special dietary needs can usually be catered for). You may wish to bring something small to add to the pre-dinner nibbles and drinks sessions, but this is totally optional.
All Days: BYO breakfast, drinks, snacks, Nespresso pods. Instant coffee & tea bags provided. 

Rooms: We have space for up to 12 PMQG members.  The accommodation on offer is a mixture of single and twin share rooms so we will need to see how we can maximise attendance, depending on the expressions of interest (EOIs) we receive for the different kinds of accommodation. If we have more interested members than the maximum spaces we have available then we will do a draw for places - NB we'll do that from all of the expressions of interest received before the deadline of midnight 20th May in order to keep everything fair.  So ... register your EOI here now!  

Cost: The exact pricing of the retreat depends on the final numbers of those attending/accommodation options and any annual prices increases on catering but here are the treasurer's estimates:  

Single room: approx. $240 to $255 pp
Share room: approx. $350 to $365 pp

*Total per person, includes 2 nights accommodation plus catered meals (one lunch and two dinners).
Costs here are estimates - the finalised cost will be depends on number attending and the finlaised catering arrangments. 

The process in detail:  

Want a shared room?  Talk to your PMQG pals and decide who you want to pair up with with before filling in your EOI here - as we need to know who your planned roommate is,   

After the deadline, we will look at the EOIs we have received and, firstly, we will draw up to four twin share rooms from those EOIs with a shared room as a first option.  Next, we will draw the EOIs for the remaining and very popular single rooms - we’ll draw at random from the 1st choice single room EOIs.
 

How it works:

Select a 'ticket' for your EOI room preference(s). Add to cart. You can 'buy' up to two tickets on your booking. Use a second ticket request IF you would like to be considered for a second room preference in the event your first preference request is unsuccessful (e.g., single room first, and shared place second if not successful on the single option). To add a second preference, you click 'Buy More Tickets' option at the bottom of the cart.

Note - whilst this EOI request is free, there is a charge for this event as outlined above. We only charge to cover the retreat costs we incur. You will receive an email soon after the deadline letting you know if your EOI was successful or not.  That email will provide payment information for successful EOIs.
