General Information
Dear 1st Balcombe Heights Family and Supporters,
We invite you to join our Annual Group Picnic and Presentation, followed by lunch catered by the group.
Join us for a brief showcase of all the exciting activities and events that our Scouts have done over the last 12 months and an overview for the year ahead.
Following the showcase, we will also enjoy lunch catered by the Group.
Annual Presentations are an opportunity for our Group to:
- Celebrate the successes of the Group and its members.
- Showcase the work that has been achieved by the members.
- Understand the financial strength of the Group.
- Introduce the office bearers for the coming year.
- Allow Group Members and Supporters to come together, share ideas and offer suggestions for the year ahead.
Our Adult Support Committee is essential to running our successful Scout Group.
Scout Groups depend on enthusiastic adult supporters to help deliver a meaningful program to our young people.
The most successful Scout Groups are those where there is strong adult support.
Our new year is an opportunity to welcome new Committee members and Supporter roles.
As a Committee member, you will find the role very rewarding and it won’t require too much of your valuable time.
It is a really rewarding experience to help develop our future youth leaders.
Committee members and Leaders receive a discount off your Scout membership fees to thank-you for your support.
I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about any of our supporter roles.
Wet Weather
The event will be relocated to our Scout Hall for an indoor BBQ & picnic.
