
Helping Your Child, Tween or Teen Become Confident and Capable
Presented by Dr Judith Locke
Dr Judith Locke is a registered clinical psychologist, former teacher and school counsellor. She speaks to parents, teachers and students internationally and throughout Australia on topics related to modern parenting, family wellbeing and academic environments.
She is also the author of two bestselling parenting books, The Bonsai Child and The Bonsai Student. Her most recent book, Raising Anxiety, is coauthored with Dr Danielle Einstein. She has a private practice, and her psychological commentary features regularly in the media. Judith will use the latest research and clinical experience to share positive and effective strategies that parents can use to help their children become more confident and capable, helping the family become more harmonious. She will be offering two evening sessions for parents:
- SESSION 1: ELC – Year 6 Parents | Tuesday 22 April | 6.30 - 8.30pm
- SESSION 2: Years 7 – 12 Parents | Wednesday 23 April | 6.30 - 8.30pm
- Delivery: Face-to-face only, Mentone Grammar Thorold Theatre (Creativity Centre, enter via Lucerne Street)
- Open to: Mentone Stories seminars are free and open to MG parents, carers and staff (NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY)
- Bookings essential: Closing 6.00pm on Tuesday 22 April
