Join us on Thursday 8 May for the launch of South Australian author Amy Matthews’ new novel, Best, First and Last.Best, First and Last is a heart-warming story about twenty-something Heather, who is stuck in a rut and reluctantly dragged on an adventure by her grieving grandmother, Bonnie, and newly divorced mother, Sandy. The three women set off to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but as they journey together, Grandma Bonnie begins to reveal long-held secrets that might just send Heather and Sandy over the edge.
Told from the perspectives of Bonnie, Sandy, and Heather, this novel offers a rich, intergenerational experience that celebrates the bonds between three generations of women.
